The BottleRoom 3 staff work very hard to make it as easy as possible for you, the stores and suppliers. We don't want you spending your valuable time collecting receipts, scanning items, etc. We want you to enjoy great beverages and save money.

But sometimes there are hiccups or unforseen circumstances that we haven't yet accounted for.

We're hear to help.  Here are some of the common questions/issues we have been asked:

A. Why do I need to be at the store to see what deals there are?

There's a variety of reasons based on the behavioral science of rebates, but a primary one is to make it as easy for you as possible. No need to save coupons, remember to bring them, etc.

Another reason is the fun aspect of the app. When you enter the store, you click to see what deals you've won for the visit. And depending on your mood that moment, you may have a taste for something different than if you were sitting on your couch at home.

B. Problem registering?

To keep our costs down, we try to filter out the scammers/spiders/shenanigans and only enable actualy people to register. One of the things we check is your domain name and require a 3 character domain name in your email.

If you have a 2 character domain name (eg, it will error out.  This problem is on our list of things to improve in the app, but in the mean time, here's what to do:

C. Turning on Location

Yes, we need your location turned on so we know which store you're at and what deals we can offer you. Without location turned on, we can't offer any deals. Here's how to do it.


  1. Click Settings, then Privacy
  2. At the top of the list should be Location Services, click that.
  3. On the Location services page click the slider to turn it on.

You're all set.  But if you want to get more specific, go to the Settings main page, scroll down to BottleRoom 3 and click it. There you can set when you'd like your location to be available to the app.
